Guess what we did today?!

It was wonderful, it was hot, it was humid and we had the best time!! Off to take a shower now and then maybe a little nap...

Happy Sunday, everyone!

P.S. If you want to read more about the little Cockspur Island Lighthouse, built in the early 1800's, click here.

  1. What fun!!!! That lighthouse is beautiful. I absolutely adore them - each one is so amazing. There is a beautiful one in Maine - Portland Head Light - that we visit every time we go. It's one of my favorite places to be. Glad you had fun! Enjoy your rest. Theresa

  3. Looks like you had fun kayaking today! That's the perfect way to enjoy the out-of-doors, see things from a different perspective, and get some exercise too. It looks like Daniel went up into the lighthouse, and you kept watch over the kayak.

Faerie Moon, I took Silke & Daniel to Portland Head when they visited me in Maine a few years ago. You might like to see another Maine lighthouse, Pemaquid: http://bit.ly/PemaquidReflected

  9. Beautiful photos! We love to kayak also - it is one of our favorite outdoor activities - we live not far from a huge lake - so is perfect. That lighthouse is so picturesque - would love to wander around there!
