It was wonderful, it was hot, it was humid and we had the best time!! Off to take a shower now and then maybe a little nap...
Happy Sunday, everyone!

What fun!!!! That lighthouse is beautiful. I absolutely adore them - each one is so amazing. There is a beautiful one in Maine - Portland Head Light - that we visit every time we go. It's one of my favorite places to be. Glad you had fun! Enjoy your rest. Theresa
ReplyDeleteLooks like you enjoyed every minute!
ReplyDeleteLooks like you had fun kayaking today! That's the perfect way to enjoy the out-of-doors, see things from a different perspective, and get some exercise too. It looks like Daniel went up into the lighthouse, and you kept watch over the kayak.
ReplyDeleteFaerie Moon, I took Silke & Daniel to Portland Head when they visited me in Maine a few years ago. You might like to see another Maine lighthouse, Pemaquid: http://bit.ly/PemaquidReflected
You two are so cute!!
ReplyDeleteDid he sit back and make you paddle that boat, huh??? Did he??? ;D
ReplyDeleteLooks like a great time, heat or not. Love the pic of the lighthouse.....beautiful scenery.
All I have done is church and computer all day.

Was für eine Treppe im Leuchtturm! Ich würde glatt hinunterfallen ... bei meiner inzwischen entwickelten Höhenangst!

Verena

ReplyDeletehow totally fun!! it looks like a great time. i am envious of your weather, we continue to sit under a blanket of wet cold fog...as soon as it warms up i can't wait to get in the water too!
ReplyDeleteenjoy the rest of your day!
I'm never disappointment when I come for a visit to your blog! I can see that you were not disappointed on your visit either! :-) Have a good nap...I did earlier!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos! We love to kayak also - it is one of our favorite outdoor activities - we live not far from a huge lake - so is perfect. That lighthouse is so picturesque - would love to wander around there!
