Being a Poet, the whole "Word-less" thing makes me puzzled. Why would anyone want a day without words?!!...But this beautiful moon doesn't need words. It's speaking volumes!!!
**gasps** Then I actually choked a little. This is such an artistic shot. I love the translucent leaves over the moon. It reminds me a tiny bit of The Fanciful One's view of the moon from her country home. Excellent eye you have, Oh Beautiful One! It has been too muggy here to carry my camera on my morning walk, but I am missing some great monsoon skies. **blows kisses** Deb
Very lovely shot Silke. We were going to sleep outside under the starts during the full moon but chickened out because there were so many mosquitoes...they are terrible this year. Hope you had a great day today.
Silke- Oh yes my friend - I know all about that full moon! We have 38 babes at work - everything they say about full moons and babies is true! (and crazy people - we see those too!)
Your photo is stunning - you should frame that one! Vicki
Gorgeous photos, Silke! I learned there was a name for the full moon - Full Buck Moon. And I never knew there were names for them. Here's what I found: "Bucks begin to grow new antlers at this time. This full Moon was also known as the Thunder Moon, because thunderstorms are so frequent during this month." How true is that LAST statement. Thanks for sharing, dear friend! Theresa
I almost posted one of the moon todat too...but I went with bears.
