Yesterday, the incredibly talented Marie Segal of Art from my Heart (click here to visit her blog) sent me a message letting me know that she included one of my paintings in an Etsy treasury she curated. I was so excited and when I took a peek, I saw that she had included Daniel as well.

Marie actually inspired me to try putting together my own treasury. I'd only curated one a long time ago and had lots of fun with this one. And, of course, I simply had to include one of Marie's amazing "unzipped hearts"! As you can tell, I was in a pastelly mood...
If you feel like leaving a comment (please, please, please!!), click here (don't click on the photo - I am not able to make it into a link).
Wishing you all a most wonderful Friday!
Congrats on being in that wonderful treasury! The one you curated looks great - and I would have loved to leave a comment - but the link doesn't lead me to it?
ReplyDeleteI saw your treasury last night via Twitter & left you a message -- it is sooo pretty! That unzipped heart is really neat. I already marked it as a fave. Thanks for reminding me about treasuries, Silke. I haven't created one for awhile. Maybe I should take the heat wave as inspiration and create a heat wave-inspired treasury! Stay cool & have a good day! Beth
ReplyDeleteCongrats! Is the making of a treasury something you do in flickr? Or right on Etsy?
ReplyDeleteAh look at all the goodies! Wonderful! I have my own treasury at work with a Silke Powers minitaure painting! :)
ReplyDeleteHow lovely! Well done :) xx
ReplyDeleteWonderful! WOnderful!
ReplyDeleteAll three of you deserve to be in treasuries as your individual works are treasures!
CONGRATS!!!!
XXOO!!

Thank you again, Silke, for including me in your lovely treasury. Creating them is quite addictive...it's so much fun to assemble pretties and see how they work together. Once you've made one - you simply can't go back! LOL Marie was kind enough to include me in hers, too. Hurray for treasuries!!! :) Have a wonderful weekend!!! Theresa
ReplyDeleteSorry, I had the wrong link under my treasury. It's all fixed now if you want to head on over... Thanks!! :-)
ReplyDeleteVery pretty... soft and attractive.
ReplyDeleteI'll check the link now.
Congratulations, Silke!
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful!!! Yes yes, you ARE focused on your dreams! I was just wondering where that clever little Marie has been...must go visit her. She's probably at her mailbox, suffering heat exhaustion waiting for my letter. Oh Brave Girl, Silke.

ReplyDeleteI love making the treasuries, it is so fun! I could probably sit there and do them all day. LOL!!
Happy Anniversay to you and Daniel, so sorry I missed that.
Thank you for including me in your Treasury, it was such a nice thing to do.
LOL!! I am not hot here, the june gloom has decided to stay through July and it is wonderful. Cool during the day. It may be the only place that is not hot in the US right now. I am soooooooooooo grateful.
Thank you again for choosing me and for posting this lovely post. This does help so much.
I commented and clicked on your treasury too.
I did it -- I created a Heat Wave treasury! http://bit.ly/bcdhPn

Both treauries are wonderful...And I like the pastels! The etsy treasury popped out on me. Said there was a problem right now. I'll try again later!
ReplyDeleteCongratulations to both of you - how fun being in the same treasury together ;-)
ReplyDeleteI love yor treasury, Silke, the color combinations are terrific...such delicate hues, almost shy looking. You did a great job!

ReplyDeleteHi beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI´m just popping in to say hi!
Happy Anniversay to you and Daniel, so sorry I missed that.
We have opened our own store(http://www.soundshop.no) and now my children has their summer vacation from school and day care so there is little time to be blogging and reading other blogs. But I hope you are having a great summer and wish you lots of happiness and creativity! See you. Love and lots of hugs from Annika ;)
