So cute...

The other evening we tried to go to our favorite restaurant on the beach, but found it closed for the day. As we walked by some condos, we kept hearing barking and when I looked up there was this cute little guy. He made us laugh!

Yesterday was the first day when I felt I was getting back to my healthy, normal self. Not quite there yet, but soon!

Hope you all had a wonderful St. Patrick's day. We celebrated it southern style with smoked, barbecued brisket, Carolina coleslaw and roasted potatoes - yum!! For desert, we made Daniel's mother's Cherry Blossom dessert - double yum!!!

Thanks for all your visits and well wishes!

P.S. I've had a couple of requests about the Carolina Slaw, so stay tuned for Friday Food and I'll share the recipe with you! It's delicious!!

  1. Hope you're on your way to quick recovery.
That dog is adorable, with his curious ears and scruffy attitude.

The St Paddy's menu you described is making my mouth water. How is Carolina cole slaw different from the "regular" one? Just curious...
