I promptly took just a few minutes and prepared an 8 x 10 inch canvas background. Can you see the little elephants?! I'm so in love with this paper - dare I paint over it?
On a completely different note, do you all remember the beautiful boat Daniel's brother made for us? Well, Daniel and I decided to take a Boating Skills class since neither one of us knows anything about boating.
Last night was our first class taught by the US Coast Guard. It's going to be quite interesting - and more extensive - than I thought: eight classes, a lot of reading, knot tying and even a test at the end.
I'm basically a chicken about water - and having some knowledge and skill (like how to read the charts) is going to help me be more relaxed when we do get out on the water by ourselves. I think.
wow I have some of those papers too... can't wait to see what you do with them.
ReplyDeleteWunderschönes papier Silke, viel Spaß damit!

ReplyDeleteI took a boaters safety course a couple years or so ago. You will do just fine and it's always fun to learn something new. Good luck!
The main thing is that you know how to swim, Silke, and you should be fine ;-)

ReplyDeleteI did stop by the Etsy shop and hearted the shop. Your comment on my blog a few minutes ago about every time you went to my blog you got hungry. Strange that you should say that because Renee always said to me, "Gloria, everytime I come to your blog, I get hungry." It reminded me of her. Thanks for stopping by.
ReplyDeleteHi Silke! Those papers are SO pretty. :) Thanks for sharing the shop link. I have issues with being in the water, too. (I love walking along the waters just not being in it...LOL). It will definitely help to read and learn should definitely make you more comfortable. :)
