  5. I thought at first it was a street in Mexico somewhere. You see a lot of that over there and matter of fact, I see a lot of that our this way too. heheehe. It's funny how rooster's go out in the street and don't know that the danger that awaits them. Poor roosters. Take care. Thx for sharing.

Thank you dear friend, thank you very much. You may never know just how much that meant to me.

  11. We have these chickens here too. The roosters are being used for cock-fighting mostly by the Hispanic cultures and the hens are for eating. We had a stray chicken from one of the El Salvadoran families and it took refuge in my friend's garage. Since the chicken stayed in the garage and started laying eggs, my friend's husband started winning in the lottery games. She wanted to get rid of the chicken but he did not let her. The chicken stayed for several months and then my friend's husband stopped winning so the chicken was free. The kids chased the chicken around the neighborhood and perched on our roof. I coaxed the chciken down by calling her "tok-tok-tok-tok" and offering rice seeds. The chicken just looked at me with an expression that I interpreted as "Yeah right, like I was born yesterday? What do you think I am, a chicken?"

Another day in our lives! Now you inspired me to draw the great chicken chase!
