Don't you think I should have something profound to say on this first day of 2010? Imagine my chagrin when I found that I am fresh out of wisdom at the moment...So, I am starting the new year with another little 4 x 6 sketch that I painted this morning. Again, quite fast and without planning. I call it New Beginnings.
These quick little portraits are so enjoyable to paint as they let me experiment with fun stuff that somehow a "serious" painting inhibits a little bit. Today, I painted up a storm and will have more art to show you in the coming days.
In the meantime, I hope you started 2010 in the perfect way for you with a party or quietly, and that this new year will bring you all that you desire!!
P.S. In keeping with my 2010 theme of expansion, I have finally figured out how to make the type on my blog bigger. It's such a relief for my eyes as I hope it is for yours... In this case bigger IS better!
