Can you see the little baby Green Heron that visited our yard the other day? Click on the photo to see it larger. We watched it for a while and then went inside so that mama bird could tend to it.
I've been painting some more, but nothing is to the point of showing it to you yet. Maybe tomorrow...
Wishing you a most wonderful day!
Wow Silke, that is so lucky, I don't think i've ever seen a baby heron. Your photo is so great too.
ReplyDeleteI LOVED your decorating post, you are so lucky again! to have your own beautiful paintings to decorate with. LOVELY!
I hope you have a wonderful day too,

ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful Wednesday, Silke, and keep cool...I'm up early, as usual, waiting for it to get a little light out so I can walk the boy ;-)

ReplyDeleteOh yes, I DO see him! He's in that awkward stage... I not only visited Vicki, I got on her list for a bird nest!!! Are they not the most delightful little things you've ever seen!!! Actually, she is quite delightful herself. So are you, Beautiful One. **happy smiles** Deb
ReplyDeleteMy goodness, he looks so tiny! Hope his mama took good care of the little guy.
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness! That is just the sweetest thing. He looks so fragile - I'm glad mama bird came by to tend to him. :) Just beautiful!
ReplyDeleteawww so cute!!!! blessed to get a pic of the baby!!!
ReplyDeleteOh WOW! Kinda cute and kinda freaky at the same time! So glad you could identify it. :)
ReplyDeleteOh I echo Bella! Baby birds with their sparse feathers scare me! I wish it a long life!
ReplyDeleteI love baby birds at that stage; the cute/quirky/almost ugly! All legs and beak; they seem to say "Please, let me grow out of this soon!"
ReplyDeleteI have never seen a baby heron (we have blue ones) but imagine they are much alike.
GREAT PIC!!!!
XXOO!!
