A few photos...

On a day when everything is pink and red and roses, I went with a different color scheme and loved it. Did I mention that I sometimes like to do things differently from what most people are doing? It's that little bit of the rebel in me...








Do you see that cute heart-shaped mirror?! A gift from my sweet husband!! I'll show you the other gift in a different post....still have to take a picture of it! 

We are having a beautifully sunny morning with mild temperatures and a hint of spring in the air. I hope you are all having a warm and sunny day!!

    Ooooooo...I love your table setting! Especially that heart shaped platter--is it silver or pewter?
    Beautiful; everything looks ready for Spring, with windows opened and the sound of birds chirping!

    Beautiful post Silke..i am really drawn to the silver little plate? in pic #3..wow..i am enchanted by it. I have an affinity for silver-esque things!It just feels really special!!

    Wonderful arrangements...it is such fun to decorate! Yay..a rebel kindred..beautiful!

    ~different is a beautiful thing!!! we too do things a wee bit off the beaten path and it makes for a far more special moment when it is created from our hearts and minds...i love the freshness and delicate feel of your table...nothing like fresh flowers to brighten up everything...and such a sweet mirror your love has given...enjoy your warmth and may your love for one another always flourish in the most delightful of ways...warm wishes and brightest blessings~

    I, too, love the heart-shaped silver tray (or dish). And the flowers are so bright & cheerful! Here in Maine, there's still lots of snow on the ground, but the sun is shining and the sky is making a lovely blue background for the green pines. I heard some birds chirping yesterday so I guess there really is a spring in our future.

    Silke, your photos are a breath of fresh air. I love whites and creams. I think your display is beautiful.
    It is sunny here and Spring has been teasing us for several days. It can't come soon enough. I am tired of looking at browns and greys!
