Yesterday, I received the generous gifts from another giveaway (it seems like I enter many of them, but I really don't - just have a lucky streak right now...) by the super talented Annie of Blissful Bohemian. She makes little pretties of porcelain and let me tell you, they are exquisite!! Make sure you visit her Etsy Shop to look at them all. She sent me one of her feather vases and that delicate dream pendant. Both so perfect for me...
As we've been exchanging e-mails, we realize that we actually have much in common, least of all our love for New Mexico! And once again, I am reminded of how blogging has enriched my life! Thank you so much, Annie!!
Now a few pictures from our Sunday walk through the Savannah squares. The sun was shining and it almost felt like spring. The parks were filled with people and the camellias were stunning!
Aside from the camellias, not much is blooming yet, but the magnolias are certainly getting ready!
I am heading up to my studio right now to finish that painting I want to show you. Yesterday was one of those lost days. It rained and rained and the low air pressure had me feeling like I never quite woke up. Suffice it to say that I didn't do much painting...
Today is new day, the air has cleared, and the sun is shining! Wishing you a sunny and uplifting Tuesday!!
YAY! Some evidence that Spring is on the way again!! :-) And there's nothing like Savannah magnolias to make you feel happy! Can't wait to see them in full regalia!...Congrats on your new Giveaway gifts too. Looks like some great pieces...Have a good day! :-)
ReplyDeleteOh those blossoms make me want to be somewhere warmer.....they are beautiful! Camellias are one of those wonderful shrubs that won't grow here...and usually our magnolia gets nipped with frost. I miss the big Southern Saucer Magnolias. :-)
ReplyDeleteLovely!
Have a good studio day!!!
XXOO~~♥

I'm so glad you won Annie's wonderful giveaway! Isn't she the most amazing person? I just love her!
ReplyDeleteYour flower photos are gorgeous, as always, and such a welcomed sight to me this morning, as I look out at nothing but snow and ice. Dreaming of Spring. . .
:0)

I loved Savannah when I visited there years ago. It's nice to see flowers and hear it is warm somewhere, as I sit here in Missouri, surrounded by snow and 2 degrees!!
Gaaaanz langsam.

OOOOooooOOoooo still swooning over that first flower shot!!! Today it is like Spring here too. Isn't is just the greatest thing getting surprises in the mail!!! **kisskiss** Deb

Congratulations on winning this Giveaway, Silke! The Camelia blossoms are lovely and are starting to peek out here as well ;-)
ReplyDeleteCongrats on your new goodies! They are very pretty indeed. And just look at all those FLOWERS! I hope to see some soon. We are still a world of white - but there will be no storms this week. So, who knows? Maybe I shall have some green soon. Theresa
ReplyDeleteHi Silke, so glad you liked your gifties :-), thank you for the shout out. I think we will become good friends indeed. Beautiful flowers! xoxo
