Art Journal - Page 4

I am on a roll, people!! Another page from my new art journal - again painted over a not-so-good image transfer. Again, quite different for me, but then I love change. I had to chuckle at myself though - as soon as I made that comment about missing the women I paint, I'm on to other things. I need to stop making statements like that!

I'm glad you liked my last painting as much as I did. Thanks for all your comments and naming suggestions. It was fun to read what you all saw! Did any of you discover the two flowers in it?

Wishing you a fantastic day!!

  1. Well I see a giant ginko leaf in this one, but totally missed the flowers in the previous! (you know I need to go to the eye doc...LOL!!!)
Isn't it fun just to cut loose?
I enjoyed working on my one, intense tag today....I am thinking it may be close to done because I can't see half the detail! HA!
Silke, what size are you working on these journal pages?

  7. You ARE on a roll! I see a kingo leaf and something that reminds me of a big dandelion gone to seed. This art journal process sounds like fun -- and it's fun for us to see what you're doing with it!

  8. This is a fun painting, Silke! To me it looks as if the blossoms are moving upward in a cloud of smoke...with the green fan shaped leaf moving it upward..."Puffing into Purple" would be a good title for it ;-)

  9. Oh my, Beautiful One, your heart is very joyful in this new year. Yes, I saw two flowers in the previous piece. Oops, I just blew on your dandelion seeds and made a wish! **kisses** Deb

  10. Hmmm....I saw the big leaf (didn't know what kind it was) but to me it looked as though it was in the shape of a heart. The purple clouds of passion are also what I see :) This picture could be titled Blooming Love.

    Simply beautiful, Silke!

I did see the flowers in the previous painting - did you see the wolf's face in it?
