Thank you all so much for your great comments on my drawing yesterday!! After class I did something I never do - I bought a cupcake. I went to Back in the Day Bakery, which you all would just love! They make the best baguette and ciabatta, which is why I went there, but I also left with a brownie for Daniel and a cupcake for me.
It was delicious!!
I needed the bread because last night we were invited to a small party with great food and fantastic musicians. I took my favorite appetizer (find the recipe here) and some of our hydrangeas. I quick snapped a couple of photos. They are so very beautiful right now!Today, I plan to not do much besides water the garden, clean house a little bit and then paint, paint, paint! My third Emergence painting is waiting...
Wishing you a beautifully colored day!!
I love cupcakes! When I eat one I don't feel as guilty as I would with a slice of cake unless it is German kuchen! Your hydrangeas are beautiful. Mine are just now coming into bloom, but we are further north than you. Cleaning house is in my future today too so I guess I better get busy!
ReplyDeleteHave a beautiful day!
