From the road

We went to the National Zoo in Washington, DC yesterday - it was a beautifully sunny day and we had a great time! I'll share more photos with you when I get back, but here is one of my favorites.

Isn't this Sumatran tiger magnificent?

  1. He IS magnificent, Silke, and you've captured a beautiful shot of him. There are so many beautiful animals in the world that we just don't see very often. Hard to appreciate them when they are living in the wild. Thankfully someone thought up the Zoo concept. I look forward to seeing more photos from your trip to the Zoo. (:
