This community of ours...

Some of you saw this post yesterday, but then I took it down. I wasn't sure if I should post this already, just being sensitive to Anne's privacy. But, as Elena pointed out, Anne is a huge believer in power of community, and asked for prayers, so I decided to post it again today.

Yesterday I learned from my sweet friend, Elena, that our dear friend, Anne of El Milagro, is facing a very difficult health issue.

Anne and I met here in blogland when I first started blogging and there was an instant connection. I cannot believe we have never met in person, because it feels like I've always known her. We were instant friends. As I know she has connected with many of you.

I know how wonderful this community is at surrounding people with love and support and I know we'll all do that for Anne! Be strong, dear friend!!

I am so grateful for all of you and for this community we have built here!!

P.S. I know many of you are concerned about Anne, but at this point, I don't want to give out any more details than this until I know it's ok with her.

    I will be saying prayers for dear Anne. It's always so sad when we hear of our blogger friends being sick or worse. Another blogger friend just lost her husband last month and Georgina also said that one of her friends is also ill. Will pray for Anne with all my heart. Thanks for letting us know.

    silke, totally upsetting and worrisome and not fair. my prayers are moving into high gear as i type this. anne means alot to me. she has been a shining light for me in certain areas and i am forever grateful. plus, her spirit and spunk are too vibrant for her to be asked to carry a serious illness. dear god, please protect anne.

    Dear Silke,
    Recently, I told you that I was going through a "bad patch", I didn't give you any details at all, but I felt your loving concern come through to me and it helped me, it really did!
    So, may I also send that same loving concern and comfort to your friend, Anne, and know that the positive energy you have generated will be surrounding her!

    I am very sad to read this. I pray Anne will pull through this. I know she is tough but I will mention her in my prayers. It seems that's what I have been doing a lot lately. Hope you are well, Silke.

    Support of friends through difficult times is always so important. It does not matter where it comes from just that it comes. My prayers will be for Anne.
