New Painting!

Clarity
Charcoal and acrylic on 11 x 14 inch wrapped canvas
May I just say that I LOVE working this way! The initial drawing is so much fun to do and then adding color in layers somehow makes it all come to life.

Tomorrow my next drawing class starts and I cannot wait!

Wishing you a good night and a great Tuesday!

  12. Amazing Silke!
Not that I am amazed that you are DOING this---I am amazed at the SPEED with which you have been able to pick up the difficult skills of portraiture; and dare I say, you are just beginning.
You have the talent it takes to really, really DO THIS WELL. I see it in each piece. It is not one step further, it is a huge jump!
    GO SILKE GO!!!!

That retreat sounds like so much fun.
Also it is so nice to have place you show your stuff, like the gallery, with someone you trust, that is the best!
