Just a quick post...

Click on the picture to see it lager...
I've been meaning to show you this photo from the Atlanta Botanic Garden and keep forgetting. It was one of my favorites. You'll probably have to click on it to see the real bullfrog in the pond. We were convinced that he was in love with the frogs on the statue. He kept swimming over and singing to them. Daniel took the photo and I just love the reflection of this happy little statue in the water.

Also, I have been having trouble with leaving comments on some of your blogs as have some of you with my blog. I've changed the comment setting so that the comment window pops out rather than having it embedded in the post. I hope that works better!! If not, we'll just have to wait for blogger to fix the problem...

In the meantime, I wish you a very happy Friday!!

Mine will be busy with preparing for a little road trip we'll be taking next week, which means getting everything together for a week of camping (yeah!! can't wait!!)  and getting the house ready for the young man who house and pet sits for us! I love that we don't have to take our pets to a kennel and that the house never sits empty. Gives us great peace of mind!

See you all in about a week!!

  1. Have a good time camping. You know Ramses will be yelling at you when you get back :0). Booboo would be standing by the door when I got home and let me know how unhappy he was that I was gone. Love the frog and your latest sketches. Have a good time.

  3. Love the photo, the bull frog looks so happy. Have a great week-end. We had to cancel our camping trip, snow had the pass closed so we could not get to our trailer!

  7. Liebe Silke,

  9. Bull alright! It can suck you! Actually, I just saw that in animal planet. They are so ugly. Sorry. I am afraid of frogs, can you believe that? Frogs and lizards. Enjoy your adventure. Tsup!
