Be still my heart- I absolutely love this!!! The colors - the texture - another beautiful Silke masterpiece. (all this beauty from a person who struggles with her amazing talents!) You are amazing dear Silke!
It's wonderful!! I love shells anyway--what amazing structures they are!! But you have done a beautiful job on this!!! It's really hatd to believe that you have been painting such a short time! Do you have any idea what inspired to pick up a brush for the first time?
Silke, I've left a little present for you in my blog. It is a friendship award :-) I've left some words in English to my anglophones friends in the end of my last post.
Hellooooo! Not being a painter, I don't quite understand underpainting (how do you choose which color? where?). But I see you understand it quite well! Lovely deep blue hues with the bright white highlights. Wish I could run my hands over it.
And gorgeous flowers! Wow! Happy Easter to you and Daniel!
look at all these blues! what does the layer of molding paste do, silke? do you put that on first? you've created a bit of a glimmer of silver that gives this such a good amount of depth. and the white crowns at the top: i like those alot.
