A little while ago, I was so pleasantly surprised that I had won the giveaway at The Art In You of this sweet magnetic memo art board, and yesterday it arrived in the mail! I just love the picture of the lovely woman, the distressed pink frame and the pretty little magnets. I will hang it in my studio where I can see her every day!
Now, there was also a little surprise gift for me - a finder's key purse and purse hanger set. I left it in the packaging because I just found it so adorable - it's a little purse! Thank you so much, Jackie! I feel so lucky! Make sure to visit her beautiful and creative blog!!
This morning, as I was picking a bowl full of lima beans (they are amazingly prolific), I spied these two tiny green tree frogs. I raced inside to get the camera and was happy so see that they waited for me to snap their picture.
I was lucky that I had the camera ready last night as Ramses was begging for a goodie. I think he might be jealous that I baked dog biscuits for Winslow. Does anyone have a recipe for cat treats?
I will have more art for you tomorrow. I've been busy...
Hope you had a wonderful weekend!! Off to visit you in blogland now...

ReplyDeleteThe tree frogs are adorable! Way to go for getting your camera so fast...great shots of them!
Aww, your Ramses is so precious! I just love furry ones of all kinds, they're so sweet! This week I'm going to be doing a post about furry one recipes. But I did find this one for you. I haven't tried it on my babies yet so I'm not sure how Ramses will like this. If you do make this please let me know how well it goes over with your lil sweetie.
Tempting Tuna Treats
Makes 55 to 65 marble-sized treats
Ingredients:
1 3-ounce can albacore tuna in water or oil, undrained
1/2 cup whole wheat flour
1/2 cup nonfat dry milk
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 large egg
1/4 cup water
Directions:
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
In a large bowl, use a fork to shred the tuna into small pieces.
Add the remaining ingredients, mixing well. The dough will be sticky.
Flour or oil your hands so you can handle the dough and form the dough into small, marble-sized balls.
Place the balls on a greased cookie sheet, and use your fingers to gently flatten them.
Bake for about 10 minutes or until the bottoms of the treats are golden brown.
Flip the treats and bake for another five to 10 minutes or until both sides of the treats are golden brown.
Remove from the oven, let cool thoroughly, and store in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
