A Sweet Moment

Things have been busy around here, but this morning, I caught this little moment. Aren't they sweet?

So, I thought I'd come back and jump right back into all the things I was doing before we traveled, but not so. I thought I'd be blogging every day, but instead I found myself decorating for Christmas with Daniel, baking cookies, being out and about with my honey and knitting up scarves that are still selling. Somehow blogging has taken a back seat, but I know I'll get back into my groove...

Also, I am sure many of you have had very cold weather and lots of snow - as have we here in the South. It's been FREEZING!! And these houses are not built for cold weather. Thank goodness we have a fireplace to make our evenings warm and cozy.

I hope you all are staying warm and are enjoying the season!!!

  1. That is an adorable picture - they are truly communing.

I LOVE this weather and I've been out more and blogging less because before we know it, it's hot and muggy again and I'm back to house arrest LOL

Have a lovely holiday season, Silke, und eine Frohe Weihnacht!

  4. It's freezing here too - and the snow just continues to fall. I can't remember a year in which we had this much snow, this early into winter. Stay warm!

  8. This is the time of year that blogging has to take a backseat to the real important things in life, like that moment you captured with Daniel and Winslow. Charming! (I think it must have been a deep, intellectual conversation!)
I figure after the holidays, I can get back into a more normal routine with blogging~~at least I hope!
But for now, there is work to finish and socks to knit......the usual winter activities!

    XXOO~~♥

  10. Oh Beautiful One, that is a most lovely moment captured. I have been buzzing around like a wee Christmas Elfin myself and being a very naughty bloggy friendling, but a most joyful maker of merriment. We can't do it all, all of the time!

  11. So very sweet!! Love this moment you captured!!

We have a wood stove and love being able to use it during the cold winters here in NY! I am sure you enjoy your fireplace!

I love the pink and chocolate knit I see in your sidebar etsy link!! Those colors are so lovely together! :)

  12. Yes they are sweet - both are cute anc cuddly! I know what you mean about just getting home - cathing up is so hard to do!! For me it is the worst part of traveling - I hate coming home to a hectic list of things that need to be done!

  15. That is such a precious photo. We've enjoyed several fires this season. And I've been baking up a storm as well. So happy to hear your lovely scarves are selling! Theresa
