...and this one a little different from my last paintings. I had prepared a large sheet of acrylic paper with gesso and then cut it up into several 5 x 7 pieces. This one I painted without any background texture, but added some pattern. I think Christmas is on my mind... I call it
The Face of Love.
You and manon are so creative and versatile. You incorporate other media. I can't and would not know what to do. This is apt for Christmas because it looks like "love".
ReplyDeleteSerene, completely serene. Blessings dear.
ReplyDeleteSilke there is something in the air, I feel it.

ReplyDeleteThis really is quite beautiful dear Silke, to me the mothers love is so pure & the child is so assured of this, that he does not need to look at her face. I truly love it xxx

Hi Silke,
ReplyDeleteI really love your double images in your paintings. This is a special picture of a mother and child. It reminds me of the painting you did for me!
I like the way their heads are tilted close to each other. By the way, the portraits look lovely framed on the wall. I think it would be great to see some more cats and dogs in your pictures!;)
Have a creative weekend.
Love. Jo.x
Really beautiful work, Silke.
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend! Hugs, Diane
Hey Silke sweets!!!, do you know how good you are getting!!!!
ReplyDeleteSweet faces, really looks like mother & child. I like how the child looks aware of the mother, giving the idea of a child being confident of the mother's love & watchful eye. Beautiful!
