I think the Tragopan was one of my favorite discoveries there - what a stunning bird! Those colors...I started at them for the longest time. They actually almost walked across my feet in the aviary...
I'm like you about zoos! I liked seeing that they had so many breeding programs for endangered animals. A few days before we got there, a couple of kiwi chicks had hatched. xoxo, Silke
