On Sunday I bought an eraser and today I went in search of Daniel's linoleum cutter and made my first ever eraser stamp. I'm sure it won't be my last...
Not so easy - that's why there are all the little imperfections and gouges where they shouldn't be. However, it was FUN!! And I didn't cut my fingers... ;-)
I've done these with wood, but have a couple of stamp blanks I bought on sale quite a while ago. Maybe I should try one too??? Wonder where my cutters are....hmmmmm.... I think yours turned out great! (and will all fingers intact too....impressed!)
This was so much fun, Anne!! And no injuries... I have another eraser and then I might need to get more. I also have some paper clay that's calling my name... xoxo Silke
honestly you crack me up, silke. I don't know what your kindergarten experience was but you are making up for lost time! the child inside you is doing cartwheels; so many wonderful creative ideas
btw, i love your city. that is where i am headed if i have nowhere to go :^)
Hahaha, KJ! Yes, I am making up for lost time. I remember from Kindergarten having to cut out a perfect circle and I couldn't do it. I don't remember a lot of fun stuff. Now I can play to my heart's content!! :-)
And right now, Savannah is amazingly beautiful!! It's not too hot and everything is blooming...
Clever stuff! I've never seen one of those before and yet so obvious a thing to try. I bet it wasn't easy though.
