Facing the Storm ~ Painting Finally Finished!

First of all thank you for all your helpful comments on my last post - keep 'em coming! It's nice to know I am not alone on this strange journey called life...
But for now to a painting I finally finished early this morning! It had been sitting for a good long time, but then it came together quite nicely.
I painted with acrylic paints and layered it with some handmade (not by me) paper.
I love her little companion, a pretty white mink.

    Oh my gosh Silke - this is absolutely gorgeous - I love the colors and her beautiful face. Your work is growing and evolving is such an amazing way -- you probably dont even have any idea how much so many of us admire your creations. Truly -- this is worthy of being displayed in one of the most prestigious art galleries anywhere!

    Silke this is beautiful. I love the colors and her beautiful face.
    I saw that it is raining in Savannah. It is still raining in Atlanta but I'm sure we will both be getting lots of sun soon.
