A Good Day!

Daniel and I attended a very small wedding today of dear friends at this pretty little church in Savannah. Even though there were just five of us and the ceremony was very simple, it was one of the most romantic weddings I have attended. Probably because theirs is a true and enduring love story...

As part of the ceremony, they sang I Have a Dream by Abba, which has always been one of my favorites. (Actually, until they sang it for us last night in a practice run, I had forgotten just how big of an Abba fan I used to be...)

To love!

  5. Silke, thanks for the ABBA memories. Reminds of Pierce Brosnan in Mama Mia trying to sing that song. Good thing he is sooooo good looking, don't want to say anything about his singing.

Congratulations and good luck to your friends. Love is the gift that just keeps giving.

  8. I love that little church! I had to enlarge the photo so I could go exploring. Savannah has to be The Most Romantic City ever. I wish I had had time when I was there for Ryan's graduation to explore. Congratulations to your lucky friends. Yes, To Love! **kisses** Deb

The photo of the church is just gorgeous. It sounds like this was indeed a romantic event. May this be a happy and lasting marriage.
