Faded Gorgeousness

I know I've probably said it several times already, but here I go again! I just LOVE hydrangeas when they start to fade.
I think we all hope to be like those flowers - only getting more and more beautiful as we age...

    Liebe Silke,

    Ich habe drei Hortensien im Garten. Eine von ihnen hat nur eine Blüte, sieht irgenwie ulkig aus.

    Getrocknet mag ich sie auch, wobei ich meine nicht abschneide. Doch ich habe von einer Nachbarin zwei Kränze geschenkt bekommen.

    Well, Silke, you obviously are one of those ladies who age VERY gracefully - you look gorgeous in each and every picture I have seen of you, no matter what age you are in them!

    I love hydrangeas, too. The pink one I got for my birthday this year now grows on my parents' allotment.

    Ich mag auch Horstensien auch sehr gern, in allen Farben - aber am Liebsten in blau.

    those are really lovely hydrangeas! My blue hydrangea didn't bloom this year! Not sure what happened, must do some research...
