Making Art Together...

When my friend was here, she started a beautiful piece of art (her first using image transfers and mixed media) that she didn't have time to finish. So today, while it was raining buckets outside all day, I simply added a little bit of paper, a little more color, a little sand from the beach, and the result is a piece I just love! It's so representative of our friendship!

Thank you all for leaving such great comments on my blog. I love hearing what you all have to say and bask in your kindness every day!!

  3. This is a treasure forever. I love the water theme, especially given you enjoyed seeing water creatures on this trip. The paper seems to represent such joy and a glorious pattern of beauty and play (love to know what company makes it) Friendship at its best! Great joy!

  4. Thanks, Amalia, for you great comment!

Beth, the turtle is a paper cutout and the fish is a gel medium image transfer. :)

Amy, the paper company is K&Company and it's from a collection called Que Sera Sera, the Designer paper pad - the fish transfer is from that paper collection as well.

Thanks all for your comments!! I so appreciate them AND you! :)
