Some small things...

...that make me happy right now!
Ok, I know he's not exactly a small thing, but you know what I mean!

An intriguing new book - thank you, Daniel! 

This has been blooming since Thanksgiving - so beautiful!! 
In a few minutes I am off to my first etching class of the quarter. As apprehensive as I felt last year, this year I feel nothing but excitement. I have a vision of what I want to create and we'll see if I can make it work...

    I am looking forward to you telling us about the etching class, and whether you've managed to create what you had in mind.
    Beautiful aubergines! That reminds me that I haven't had any in a while.

    These are definitely great things to be excited about. Winslow is such a cutie. And I love eggplant - my hubby doesn't care for it, as much, which is quite the shame. But I can eat it every day! :) Happy New YEar!
