Happy Thanksgiving!

Yesterday, Daniel had gotten some beautiful branches at the river to put in our pretty hanging vase by the front door. When he took the old flowers out of it, he found not just one,
or even two,
but three frogs who had made their home in that little space (can you see the third one way down in the vase in the picture below?). AND a lizard, who was too fast for me to snap a picture.
Everyone was given new homes for the time being and the resulting arrangement turned out beautiful!
With that I wish my American friends and family a Happy Thanksgiving and am signing off for the next two weeks while I enjoy family and travel! I wish you all a most wonderful couple of weeks and will see you when we get back!!

  3. Wow...beautiful!! I would be so thrilled to find those gorgeous creatures of nature..you are so lucky. At one time in my life I was so drawn to frogs..they were companions on my healing journey.and i was creating alot with sound healing...they are so healing and powerful little souls.I have a small sound healing bowl that is green as a frog..so i always think of it as gift from the frogy realm.

thanks for sharing these little beauties..and three? powerful..magical!!

Happy travels and much joy and love to you bloggy friend!

  6. Have a safe and enjoyable trip. I'm not sure how you celebrate Thanksgiving but I have read about the German Erntedankfest which I believe is a way to give thanks for a successful harvest season...I like that.:) Have fun!
