I too don't do change well even though we all know change is the only constant in the world! If something happens and the wind gets knocked out of my sails I have a terrible time getting back to status quo, at least most of the time. I think we all should unplug and spend serious quiet time every week... the world moves much too fast and we were not designed to keep up this pace all the time... unless we are one of those lucky people with oodles of energy, alas, I am not one of them! LOL!
I love all of your flowers and baby tomatoes and am very jealous right now because everything here in New Hampshire seems to be taking forever to get going... impatience, :D No there is something I'm very good at, impatience!
Hugs and enjoy the upcoming weekend,
Beth PAnonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4666398736543001055.post-40378801073381034312013-05-15T19:27:29.328-04:002013-05-15T19:27:29.328-04:00Hi Silke, good to see you. We all understand your need to be away-- to even totally give up blogging if that's what you decide. I think you have to do what makes you happiest.

When I'm off kilter-- I need time to think. I knit a lot-- even more than usual-- it calms my soul and brings me to a place of peace.

I wish the very best for your friends--

Love you-
VickiVicki Bosterhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10130335934867523461noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4666398736543001055.post-40403366293516820312013-05-15T13:20:52.651-04:002013-05-15T13:20:52.651-04:00oh how I'd love a walk through your garden!oh how I'd love a walk through your garden!Laurahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/15349928247626849914noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4666398736543001055.post-39081268639705090512013-05-15T09:30:38.802-04:002013-05-15T09:30:38.802-04:00Liebe Silke,

AnkeSvanvithehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04181864856387174654noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4666398736543001055.post-23685529250006559352013-05-15T07:15:05.754-04:002013-05-15T07:15:05.754-04:00Hi Silke, what a deeply beautiful post, you have t...Hi Silke, what a deeply beautiful post, you have touched my heart with your journey and thoughts!HUgs to you! Yes, sometime...Your flowers are wunderschön, Silke!
Yes, sometimes a bit of a break from routine - even if it is a pleasant routine, such as emailing to friends and writing on your blog - is what it takes to get things back into balance again.
And as you so rightly say, nothing ever stays the same for very long.Librarianhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05704656564078750607noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-4666398736543001055.post-90378926290636591522013-05-14T12:05:51.260-04:002013-05-14T12:05:51.260-04:00Liebe Silke,

I understand your post completely. The days I'm able to do my art is when I'm away from civilization(if that is what you call it). I love that you cook, garden, spend time with Daniel and find peace in that. I think this is all about getting older and as they say it is not for sissys! It is a narrow road we walk, continue moving forward. Lorrielilylovekinhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/16644966352516885099noreply@blogger.com
